Open Hands

Open Hands Community Kitchen is offering a free meal every Friday night to anyone in that is in need of a meal.

In summer we have a main meal for example Shepherd's Pie or pasta bake and then a desert, maybe chocolate mud cake and ice cream or Jelly and ice cream. Then in winter we will be having soup and then a main meal.

Everyone is welcome regardless or religion or nationality.

Come and enjoy a free meal and some great company.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide meals with integrity and respect, in a safe warm environment, giving hope to those in need, regardless of age, sex, race, financial status or religious beliefs. In turn providing volunteers with real opportunities to help someone in need.

There have been generous donations of vegetables from Mr. Spudley’s Vegie Patch up at Shellharbour Square, which have been a very big help, and enabled us to make the meals more filling. Baker’s Delight at Warilla Grove has also given us some bread to go with our meals which we are very grateful for too.
